Husaberg Team Prepares for 2010 Enduro World Championship

Husaberg reports that their 5-man factory team is ready and waiting for the start of the '10 'FIM Maxxis Enduro World Championship, undoubtedly, they say, an exciting season.  New this year is a round in Turkey.  There are eight rounds in the EWC, covered in 16-days.

Nathan Woods Finishes 9th at WORCS Round 3, Showing His True Colors: Blue and Yellow

OK so we're a little biased towards Husaberg's blue and yellow, but Woods loves it, too, rides a 'Berg (FC450) and is a Factory Rider with Husaberg.  We're glad to have him on the team.   Two-time WORCS Championship winner, Nathan Woods is looking to reclaim the title for 2010 and is inching his way to the top, coming in ninth at Crazy Horse, Round 3.   Woods had a crash near the halfway mark of the race and got his Husaberg tangled up in thick bushes, which didn't seem to bother the bike at all, but cost Woods some precious time.

Oriol Mena came close to victory in E3 while Xavi Galindo just missed the podium in E2.

Great performance of the Husaberg at the first round of the 2010 Spanish Enduro Championship, which once again took place under toughest weather conditions, like many races so far this season in Spain. The race even had to be cut short by one special test.

Sandlapper Enduro SE&TRA, AMA February 28, 2010 Salley SC

Blue sky and Sunshine.  Nothin' but blue sky and sunshine..... and the roar of 300 motorcycles, it was a perfect day at the Sandlapper Enduro, Salley, SC February 28, 2010, a SE&TRA AMA Rekluse event.  Around 300 riders, 2 females and 4-5 of these riders were on Husabergs.  The entries were a little low this year, primarily due to the economy.

2010 Husaberg FX 450 Summary of Test Rides

Dirt Rider's Jimmy Lewis posted the results of his 2010 Husaberg FX 450 First Test just a few days ago (linked below).   I've been eagerly awaiting this report and like to think I might have been one of the first to read; however, I haven't had time to talk about it until now.  I've been drooling over the FX 450 since July '09 (here.) when everybody was reviewing the '09 FE 450e and dreaming about the FX 450.    Around here, Emb

Dakar 2010 Summary

I was going to sum up the race for you, which would have included a lot of Annie Seel and Tamsin Jones, but I found a great review which I can't even touch, so I'm going to put it here instead of my own post.  The following is from Bleacherreport.com and written by James Broomhead.  I have edited it only by cutting out the trucks and quads and reporting only on the bikes.

Dakar 2010: Stage 12 San Juan to San Rafael

There was so much confusion with Stage 11, I've been sitting back and chilling a little bit and I feel like asking the worn out cliche question "Who's on first?"  Something about an Argentine policeman routing several riders the wrong direction, winners going to bed only to wake up and find out they're not winners because time credits were issued in their sleep and Mark Macguire finally admitted ....

Dakar 2010: Stage Eight in Glorious Detail

I've been trying to keep my mouth shut and let Ben report the Dakar for you, but this stage was so exciting, I have to put in my two cents.  And now?  Now I'm most determined to get over there next year and cover the event in person.
